Nora Geffen is a director and theatre artist who centers collective creation and play in her work. Recently, Nora has worked with Studio Theatre, Shakespeare Theatre Company, Goodman Theatre, Drury Lane Theatre, Northlight Theatre, Marriott Theatre, Raven Theatre, and Snails on a Bike Collective. She was the inaugural Directing Fellow at Studio Theatre in Washington, D.C. and a 2023-2024 PlayGround Chicago Directing Apprentice. Nora graduated summa cum laude from Northwestern University with a degree in Theatre and English.

Nora is interested in queerness, folktales, and grief. She likes plays that end a little messy. She likes ghost stories. She likes Justine Kurland’s Girl Pictures.
