a devised adaptation of Salman Rushdie’s Haroun and the Sea of Stories, funded by Northwestern’s Performance Studies independent project grant. we spent several months collaboratively exploring the story using improvisation, physical theatre techniques, toy and shadow theatre elements, and ensemble movement, culminating in a workshop presentation for an audience of peers and mentors.
